Apart from the Association of Insurers and its members, the membership of the Austrian Institute comprises insurance agents, smaller mutual insurance associations, insurance consultants, members of the relevant union and the Ministry of Education. In the shape of the Austrian Institute an institution has for the first time been created in Austria that has enabled the insurance industry to discover a wide area of common ground.
